That was the core focus of this sales meeting, led by Devin Reiss, Training and Performance Coach, with insights from Brett Matsuura, Vice President of Professional Development with Coldwell Banker. The message was clear and practical: education is not a perk, it is a revenue driver.

“Learners Are Earners”: Why Training is a Business Asset

Brett Matsuura framed professional development in simple terms: “Professional development is the most valuable asset in any business.” Not branding, not technology, not even lead flow.

Skills compound, knowledge compounds because execution improves when education is intentional.

Short, focused modules under 20 minutes, such as CPShorts (Central Processing Shorts), deliver one topic in depth without pulling agents away from their business.


2. Interactive, Scenario-Based Instruction

If you’ve ever attended a session with Devin, you know the format changes frequently. Instruction moves from lecture to discussion to real-world scenarios, keeping agents engaged and applying concepts immediately.


3. Direct Connection to Daily Business

Every class must tie directly to how agents operate day to day, whether that’s listings, contracts, compliance, or client communication.


4. On-Demand Flexibility

Agents learn on their schedule, not someone else’s. Live options are available, but on-demand access ensures training supports production rather than competing with it.


The New Education Station: A Clear Path for Every Agent

One of the most significant updates was the launch of the redesigned Education Station, created to eliminate confusion and overwhelm around training.


Instead of scattered classes and unclear choices, agents now receive:

  • A personalized list of classes with direct links to where each training lives

  • A clear, centralized “one-stop shop” education worksheet

  • Detailed course catalogs explaining what each class covers and when it’s most valuable

Agents can complete required courses from Ethics and Contracts to Agency and Law. All taught by Devin Reiss, with options for live sessions, Zoom, and hybrid formats. There is no need to coordinate separately with associations or outside providers.
