An Interview With David Squier




We are excited to announce the appointment of a new leader at the helm of Coldwell Banker Premier Realty's Centennial Hills Campus. With over three decades of real estate experience, David Squier has established himself as an expert in the industry. Having been a resident of Las Vegas since 1971, he possesses a deep understanding of the local market. With his expertise in guiding and developing others, we are excited to witness the positive influence he will bring to this already thriving campus.  


David’s Real Estate Journey 

With a thorough knowledge of the city's evolution from a small town to a major metropolitan area, David has weathered every market condition, navigating the complexities of the real estate landscape. His innate ability for training, coaching, mentoring, and business development has propelled him to success at every level—from a top producer to a leader of a mega agent team, corporate broker, owner, and personal coach.  


An Opportunity Arises  

David's path to becoming the Centennial Hills Branch Manager is based on a strong relationship with CEO, Bob Hamrick. Their bond, formed in 1988, remained strong over the years. In October 2021, a significant conversation about the value of engaging with the agent sphere of influence resulted in David receiving an invitation to speak as a guest at one of our regular sales meetings. Little did we know that this would pave the way for David to embrace the position he was meant to have. 

 

As David discussed the importance of demonstrating value and building meaningful relationships during the sales meeting, it became clear that his extensive experience and distinct viewpoint would make him an ideal addition to our leadership team. 

 

 

Get to Know David 

We sat down with David to learn about his personal story and the factors that drove him to choose Coldwell Banker Premier Realty as his home. 

 

Coldwell Banker Premier Realty: David, welcome to the CBPR family! What led you to choose CBPR for your real estate career? 

 

David Squier: Throughout my extensive real estate career, I consistently heard about CBPR. Knowing and respecting Bob since my first day in real estate in 1988, I was always listening. The message was consistent—family environment, excellent culture, and unmatched agent productivity. It's not just about the coaching, support, and tools; it's the unique focus on the agent first that sets CBPR apart. The success of the agent is the success of the company, and that's pretty cool! 

 

Coldwell Banker Premier Realty: Describe yourself in three words. 

 

David Squier: Energetic, authentic, and open-minded. And yes, I'll count that as one word! 

 

Coldwell Banker Premier Realty: You've emphasized the importance of a balanced work/life dynamic in a successful career. Can you share something about yourself that people might not expect that you enjoy outside of work? 

 

David Squier: I'm a Gear Head! I love classic cars and motorcycles, and I can fix just about anything—from cars and houses to boats and motorcycles. Thanks, Dad, for passing on those handy skills! 

 

Coldwell Banker Premier Realty: As the Branch Manager, what do you believe agents will gain from having you in this role? 

 

David Squier: I bring a ton of experience to the table, not just successes but also my challenges and failures. This provides a powerful coaching and training opportunity. I'm here to guide our agents through every aspect of their careers. 

 

Coldwell Banker Premier Realty: What are you most looking forward to in your new position? 

 

David Squier: I'm looking forward to being a part of the things that cause not only success in the workplace but also success in life—family, balance, liberty, legacy, and happiness. Our leadership team, including Alan Sheleheda, Danielle Devine, and Kenna Knecht, is committed to helping our agents achieve their goals and take their business to the next level. 

 

Coldwell Banker Premier Realty: What are your goals for 2024 and beyond? 

 

David Squier: Helping this incredible team grow, thrive, and be the Northwest Las Vegas office to beat. More production, happier agents, and completing bucket lists together.   David has already been busy getting to know our agents. One agent specifically, Stacy Peppley, had this to say:
