Feel-Good Story | Holiday of Giving

Holiday Sock Drive Results

At the end of December we hosted a holiday sock drive at all three of our campuses in conjunction with Las Vegas REALTORS® (LVR) to benefit the Nevada Partnership of Homeless Youth. With a goal of collecting 1,000 pairs of socks from its staff, sales associates, and clients, Coldwell Banker Premier Realty exceed its goal by 249 percent donating a total of 3,486 pairs of socks. We want to thank everyone who helped us exceed their goal.

“I am continuously blown away by the generous spirit of those whom I work with. It’s more important than ever that we come together and support our community, especially our youth.”- Nicole Hollimon, Coldwell Banker Premier Realty sales associate and LVR Good Neighbor Award Recipient.

Charitable Highlights

In addition to our company-wide drive, our Centennial Hills Campus hosted a toy drive benefiting Fill the Truck. Over 100 new toys were dropped off to the Clark County Fire Department and the Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation before the holiday. And our long-time sales associate Kameron Kildea celebrated his families 20yr anniversary of sponsoring a family with the Nevada Childhood Cancer foundation. This year they raised just under $8k in special gifts plus a $2K donation made to NCCF in the family’s name to assist with their ongoing medical expenses.

“Giving back is an important tradition in my family during the holidays. My wife, children, extended family, neighbors, coworkers, clients and friends all join in helping us give one family affected by cancer a very special Christmas.”

A New Year Of Giving

In addition to each of these special holiday drives, many agents at Coldwell Banker Premier Realty make an automatic donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for every home sale or purchase they complete. This ongoing partnership helps support the St. Jude mission of finding cures and saving children.

Even though the holidays are over, you can continue to support the Las Vegas community in other ways.

  1. Volunteer to serve a meal at the Las Vegas Rescue Mission or other soup kitchen

  2. Make a donation to a local food bank, school pantry, or other charity for the food-insecure households

  3. Give blood and help save a life

  4. Run a 5K for your favorite cause

  5. Pay it forward with random acts of kindness
